FIBROMYALGIA/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome

Fibromyalgia is a medical condition characterized by widespread pain.  Patients can also have fatigue, restless leg syndrome, brain fog and other systemic symptoms. It is not unusual for depression, anxiety and PTSD to be present.

Chronic Fatigue Syndrome is characterized by profound, overwhelming fatigue, cognitive dysfunction, pain, sore throat, poor quality sleep and unrefreshing sleep as well as many other symptoms depending on the individual.

The causes of these illnesses are poorly understood, but a combination of genetic, environmental and infectious factors are likely to play a role.
