Dr. Williams has been involved in the connection between Chronic Illness and Brain Health for over 20 years. During her residency she worked at the OHSU Obsessive Compulsive Disorders Clinic treating PANDAS PANS. In 1994 She opened the first Fibromyalgia, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome Clinic to help those patients labeled with mysterious illnesses.
Dr. Williams believes that mental illness/distress is an all encompassing illness that involves the immune system, endocrine system and nervous system and will do a complete, thorough diagnostic work up.
Dr Williams is board Certified by the American board of Psychiatry and Neurology practicing in Woodlinville, Washington. She is a Distinguished Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association.
Dr. Williams is a member of the American Psychiatric Association Caucus on Integrative Medicine, and will discuss with you all treatment modalities available, prescription medications as well as social and dietary approaches.
She has been a member of the International Lyme and Associated Disease Society since 2004 and has served on the Board of Directors, and was the Chairperson of the Membership Committee.
Dr. Williams is a native of the Seattle area . She lives in Woodinville Washington with her husband, two horses and four cats.
